High School

The Eva Winer High School

Here at Bais Yaakov High School, we oversee the growth and maturation of our students during a critical point in their lives. Our goal is to not only to provide a superior education through our challenging dual curriculum, but also to enable our students to grow and flourish in their ruchnius and self-knowledge. We do this by stressing academic excellence, fostering a warm and nurturing environment, and transmitting the centrality of Torah and Yiras Shamayim.

In order to meet the needs of our students, the High School offers varied and rich programming in both Limudei Kodesh and General Studies, such as electives, accelerated classes, and AP classes. Additionally, our Shemesh learning center caters to students with different learning styles through one-on-one instruction and modified course work where necessary. Twelfth graders benefit from the invaluable opportunity of earning college credits during their senior year, as well as seminary advisement regarding their post high school years.

Aside from academics, we offer a myriad of extra-curricular programs and activities. From G.O. (which provides student activities) to G’mach (community service programs) to Science Club, and so much more, there’s something for everyone. We also further enrich the high school experience with special speakers, events outside of school hours, and our annual Chanukah and Purim Chagigas. Productions, Exhibits, and Conventions all promote creativity and leadership among our students and help them form connections with fellow students of all ages within the school and from around the country.

Both locally and outside our city, graduates of Bais Yaakov High School are viewed as well rounded, well educated young women who are making a positive difference in their communities. Their success is the result of a school program that strives to be as extensive as it is thorough, as we focus on teaching the whole person both the knowledge found in books, and the inspiration and wisdom needed for healthy Torah living. We thank G-d for our past success and look forward to a continued, bright future.
