Camp Bais Yaakov

Camp Bais Yaakov

Camp Bais Yaakov, affectionately known as BYC, caters to girls ages 4 through 5th grade and boys ages 4 and 5. TCBY, our elite girls’ program, caters to 6th and 7th graders. We have a jam-packed day starting at 9:15 am and ending at 4:00 pm. Early drop-off is available, as well.

We, the staff of Camp Bais Yaakov, believe that summer should be fun. We know that some kids struggle throughout the school year, and that, for many kids, camp is a place for them to shine. Our emphasis is on creating the most wonderful summer experience for every child that walks through our doors. We hire only the best counselors! We are sure you will agree that our counselors are funnest, spunkiest, and most caring girls around.

Our daily activities include free swim, swimming lessons, sports, arts & crafts, drama, baking, computer workshops, and live performances on stage. We also provide tons of fun special activities like cake-decorating, wood-working, Juumba (Jewish Zumba), and karate for the boys. We love to bring in special surprises like horse-back riding and bungee trampolines, to shake things up every so often. Our older girls love going on weekly trips such as stream-hiking, wall-climbing, go-karting; while the younger campers are kept entertained by our very own moon bounce, ball pit, outdoor waterslide as wel as age approrpiate trips such as parks, bounce-houses and Port Discovery! Don’t forget that our building is always air-conditioned, maintaining a comfortable temperature regardless of the weather. And we stay cool when it’s nice outside with our Olympic-size pool… and of course the occasional water fight.

The atmosphere in BYC is always upbeat and electrifying with our daily dancing by lunch and random bursts of cheering. Though we cater to over 250 campers, Camp Bais Yaakov has a warm and friendly environment, where every girl feels she can belong. We also encourage spiritual growth in our campers by providing incentives for davening through our various programs, participating in the Chai Lifeline Walkathon, having bi-weekly fun parsha activities, and more.

We are looking forward to yet another amazing summer!
