1.       Bais Yaakov General Scholarship Fund

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Bais Yaakov education.  Although close to 40% of the parent body pay full tuition, there are many families that are unable to do so for various reasons.  These include unemployment, single parent families, broken families, those with medical issues, families of immigrants who are unemployed, or those employed with significantly low income.

The Associated contributes 1.2 million dollars annually to our scholarship fund.  Bais Yaakov must raise more than 3 million dollars from parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, and other sources to cover the budget.

2.       Legacies and Endowments

One may memorialize a loved one or perpetuate a family’s name by creating a designated endowment.  Funds from the endowment help support special programs as well as tuition assistance for students in need.

3.       Raffle

During the spring and summer months each year, Bais Yaakov holds the annual “caddy raffle”.  Raffle tickets are available for $100 per ticket.  There are three cash prizes-

First Prize-$5,000

Second Prize-$1,500

Third Prize-$1,000

This drawing takes place at the end of the summer.

4.      Capital Development Fund

Contributions to this fund will help pay for capital improvements in both our Park Heights and Smith Avenue campuses.

6.       Dedications and Plaques

Dedication opportunities are available at both of our campuses.  These opportunities include classrooms, classroom furnishings, etc.  A dedication plaque can be placed representing the names of the honoree and donor.

7.       Matching Gifts

You can double the value of your gift to Bais Yaakov if your firm or company has a matching gift program for its employees.

8.       Wish List

The Bais Yaakov administration and faculty are always looking for new educational programs, teaching tools, etc. to help enrich each student’s educational experience.  Sometimes, these opportunities can not be funded by our operating budget and we must turn to other sources to achieve our goal.  A wish list will appear periodically and will be updated showing how contributors can donate in a unique and meaningful way.

9.       Bequests and Trusts

A provision in a will for a charitable gift to the Bais Yaakov School for Girls

Gifts through bequests and trusts allow you to leave a legacy that will live on in perpetuity to make a difference for future generations of Bais Yaakov students.
