We are very excited to inform you of a new program which will benefit our students and parents. This year, the elementary school will be participating in the Federally Subsidized Hot Lunch Program for 1st-5th grade. This means that any student who qualifies will be entitled to a free or reduced-price hot lunch. Those students who do not qualify for the government subsidy will still be able to purchase a hot lunch at the full price.

This year we will be offering hot lunches 2 days week; on Mondays and Wednesdays. The program will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009. The food will be prepared by the school and will be cholov yisroel and yoshon. Attached you will find the planned menu for September.

To participate in the program, you must sign up annually. The sign up form and Meal Benefit Application (if applicable) are due by September 1, 2009 to guarantee your child will receive her meals. The enclosed Government forms for free or reduced eligibility must be filled out even if you fill it out for other schools or in previous years. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for school cancellation days or absences.

Payment is due with this form or added to your FACTS bill for the year. Forms and payment should be turned into the executive office at the elementary school.
